Trying Out the Apple Cider Vinegar

http://www.rasayanaretreat.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/apple-cider-vinegar2.jpg

I’ve heard about the health benefits of the Apple Cider Vinegar before but I didn’t really give so much attention to it. And then, just recently I was reminded about it when my Hubby was having frequent heart burns. I actually read from my cousin’s post that she had GERD and used the ACV ( apple cider vinegar) to treat it. So, that’s when I started to search about ACV.

As I read articles and sites about it, I was surprised that it indeed has a number of uses. I was even more excited when I found out  that it’s also use to lose weight. So, that same night we bought a big bottle of Bragg’s ACV and we’re trying it out now.

Who knows, this might help me in my weight loss efforts. I know this will not be as effective as diet pills, but I want to try losing weight the natural way.

Family Time: Sky Park Stay

After all the busyness for the past weeks, Hubby’s trip to Indonesia, guests, teams and etc. we finally had the time to take a very short break as a family. So, we decided to unwind a bit at Sky Park hotel. This is actually a hotel owned by one of our students’ and we got a discount. :) Aside from that, it’s new, far away from the city center and is within our budget.

We only stayed there for 2 days and one night. Yes, it was a very short break but we’re happy since we were able to bond as a family and my kids enjoyed swimming at the pool.

Tea Party

I was amused when I entered my daughter’s room today. There I saw my kids’ stuffed toys on the chair  with the table inbetween. The table was ‘set’ and at one glance you’ll know that the bears are having a tea party! It was so cute!.. my son and daughter played ‘tea parties’ while I was having an afternoon nap. I actually wasn’t feeling very well, this afternoon and I dozed off while putting my kids to sleep. R.esult, I was still asleep when my kids woke up.

Oh, it was another non-homeschool day today.. But I will surely make it up nour one next week. I really need to finish  our curriculum thisd month so, I could start homeschooling my son too. He has been waiting to be homeschooled and he actually got more excited after buying his own table and chair. I hope he won’t be asking us to put desk name plates  next to distinguish his desk from his sister’s.
